Dalam wasiat kematian yang ia tulis, Ustaz Arifin Ilham menyebutkan bahwa dirinya dilarang untuk banyak bersuara dan salaman, mengapa?
Seperti yang kita ketahui, Ustaz Arifin Ilham sempat dinyatakan sembuh dari kanker getah bening dan kanker nasofaring stadium 4A.
Kanker nasofaring sendiri merupakan jenis kanker yang tumbuh di rongga belakang hidung dan belakang langit-langit tenggorokan.

Habib Nabiel Almusawa, pimpinan Majelis Rasulullah SAW, mendoakan Ustaz Arifin Ilham di RSCM, Jakarta.

Dengan gejala yang timbul, seperti adanya benjolan di leher yang dapat menyebar ke kelenjar getah bening, adanya darah dalam liur, mimisan, hidung tersumbat, sakit tenggorokan, telinga berdenging, bahkan sakit kepala.
Pada penderita kanker nasofaring stadium 4, kanker telah menyebar hingga jaringan atau organ tubuh lainnya yang bisa jadi berjauhan dengan letak nasofaring yang berada di rongga dekat langit-langit tenggorokan.
Hal inilah yang membuat Ustaz Arifin Ilham dilarang oleh dokter untuk banyak bersuara, karena dapat memperparah kondisi nasofaring.
Sedangkan melansir dari American Cancer Society, sepertinya penderita kanker yang tengah menjalani serangkaian pengobatan seperti kemoterapi tidak diperbolehkan salaman.
Hal ini dikarenakan kemoterapi yang dijalani Arifin Ilham berdampak pada sistem sarafnya, seperti kesemutan, mati rasa pada tangan dan kaki, otot terasa sakit/lemas, kehilangan keseimbangan, tremor (tangan bergetar).
Bahkan tak jarang pasien yang tengah atau sudah menajlani kemoterapi akan merasa kehilangan konsentrasi, kebingungan, leher terasa pegal, sakit kepala, dan gangguan pendengeran.

Selain itu, berjabat tangan atau salaman bahkan berdekatan dengan pasien dapat mengalami penurunan sistem kekebalan tubuh, jika imunitasnya sedang tidak baik.
Pasalnya, pasien yang baru saja menjalani kemoterapi akan mengeluarkan gas yang dikeluarkan melalui sistem pernapasan yang dapat mengganggu aliran darah para penjenguknya.
Jika melihat dari efek yang terjadi akibat proses pengobatan kanker yang dijalan Ustaz Arifin Ilham, sepertinya harap dimaklumi jika beliau tidak diperbolehkan banyak bersuara dan salaman.(*)
